Here at the Golden Slipper in York, we know that our friendly pub is the popular choice for people in the locality for a reason. As well as our band of regulars, we have a circle of people who return to the pub whenever they are visiting York, including tourists from as far afield as Spain!

The Golden Slipper has a really unique character, and with three distinct and individual rooms, we like to think that we have something to offer everyone.

We know how important it is for you to come to a pub that is clean and well looked after.  We are proud of our record for cleanliness and hope that visitors will appreciate the effort we put into keeping the pub clean and presentable. 

We are pleased to offer free WiFi, a cosy beer garden and a variety of other activities. You will find that when you come to the Golden Slipper, we work hard to make sure you are comfy and relaxed. 

Anita Adams, the landlady has been here 25 years and says “I'm as committed to my customers today as I was the day I walked in. My staff are fantastic and are continuing my traditions”.
